Liverpool’s new Caicedo alternative, Pavard’s Man Utd talks, Spurs want Arsenal star

The transfer window has just two weeks left and there are still a host of moves on the table following a record-breaking move for Moises Caicedo.

He would have been an interested spectator as Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool and the midfielder has since completed his move to Stamford Bridge for a British record fee despite late interest from the Reds.

Romeo Lavia is set to follow his path, the Southampton youngster having decided to snub Liverpool to head to Chelsea too.

Manchester United are still working on new recruits – namely Sofyan Amrabat – and have had scouts in France over the weekend but may have to sell a few more players first, with Harry Maguire yet to complete his move to West Ham.

And Arsenal are facing offers from Saudi Arabia for Brazilian defender Gabriel, who was only a substitute in their opening day win over Nottingham Forest. Spurs are also keen on an unwanted Gunners star.
